Victoria Stocks Up with 50 Bottles of Rodial Stretch MX Creams

The DailyMail is reporting this morning that Victoria Beckham has gotten her aides to splash out £3,000 on stretch mark removal cream shortly after the birth of baby Harper. Eight boxes containing 50 bottles of Rodial's Stretch MX - worth £2,950 - were delivered to Victoria and David's Beverly Hills mansion early this week.

The cream claims to make unsightly lines vanish within weeks and is also a favourite of Kate Hudson, Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba.


Yesterday a spokeswoman for the company said: 'We were happy to meet Victoria's requirements. Over 94% of women buying Stretch MX are using the product pre or post pregnancy - it is by far our best selling product for expecting mothers. The formulation has been clinically proven and scientifically designed to help women with stretch marks reducing the appearance within a very short time of usage.'

The lightweight gel is formulated with Regu-Stretch, which works to reduce the size of stretch marks whilst wheat protein helps to smooth and restructure the surface of the skin toning and revitalizing the overall look and texture. How Victoria Prepared for Baby Harper

The weeks leading up to the birth of baby Harper Seven were busy for Victoria Beckham. Really busy. She unveiled a new collection, was raising three boys, and preparing for her new baby girl, Harper Seven.

She was saying, 'I just want her to get here and want to be holding her in my arms – not in my belly,' " a source close to Beckham, 37, tells PEOPLE. "She had not been all that tired until the end, when it is just so hard to be active so pregnant. She was so excited and really just ready for the baby. She [had] been working really hard to get as much done as possible before Harper's arrival. She was unsure of how she would manage time and schedule after [Harper] arrived."

Like any seasoned mommy, Beckham had her nursery in tip-top shape "for weeks" prior to Harper's arrival, the source says. But even with all the advance planning and help from her husband, it was "a crazy explosion keeping all their schedules together."

"David was, of course, over the moon about her arrival," the source continues. "He was around town taking the boys to and from camp and to their soccer lessons – all the stuff he usually shared with Victoria."

So how did the kids pitch in? "The boys, who are all so sweet and a really caring and very well-mannered bunch, are all old enough to really know what was about to happen," the source says. "The kids seemed happy but they are such boys. [It] will be interesting to see how they take care of their little sister."

The Beckhams, who were joined by some of Victoria's family from the U.K. for Harper's arrival, are spending their first full-time summer in L.A.

Victoria Beckham Creates 'Shabby Chic' Nursery

Victoria Beckham has splashed out over $9,700 on a "shabby chic" nursery. A source said: "The nursery is ready and is a girlie overload. It's very tasteful - mostly cream with dashes of pink and every detail has been though of. The design is shabby chic with French inspired furniture. The baby will have the finest of everything."

As well as splashing out on furniture from exclusive baby boutique Petit Tresor, Victoria has also started shopping for designer outfits for her daughter. The source added to Closer magazine: "Victoria splashed out $890 on a bassinet crib and bought a $2,565 changing table and a chaise longue. She also got three teddy bears. One of the stunning pieces is a $2,995 cream wardrobe with bunnies engraved into the frame, which she has already filled. She had already bought a few pieces in New York and online, such as a Kate Mack dress, plus she got lots of presents at her baby shower in May. She's so excited."

What's in a Name?

I don't know about you guys but I really like the name the Beckhams chose for their new daughter. Harper is a beautiful name and I think she was given the middle name of Seven as an ode to her doting daddy!

Here is a snippet from the DailyMail about the newest Beckham's name:

"Friends close to the couple have said that Harper, an old fashioned English name, is one that Victoria has always liked.

It could be a reference to To Kill A Mockingbird author Harper Lee or even the fashion and lifestyle magazine Harper's Bazaar, the cover of which Victoria has graced on a couple of occasions.

It has proved to be a popular name in the US and other celebrities, such as Foo Fighters Dave Grohl, Lisa Marie Presley, and Neil Patrick Harris have named their daughters Harper.

As for the middle name Seven, it has been considered a lucky number for thousands of years among many cultures. In the Bible, there are the seven days of creation, and ancient Rome had seven gods, which gave their names to days of the week.

But the most likely reason the Beckhams chose it is because it was David's shirt number at Manchester United and for England.

Harper was also born at 7.55am, during the seventh month and weighing 7lbs 10oz."

A HUGE congratulations goes out to the entire Beckham family as they announced the arrival of their newest addition, Harper Seven Beckham, who entered the world yesterday at 7:55 am. She was born via a planned Cesarean section (as were her older brothers) at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA. Harper weighed a healthy 7lbs 10 oz and is said to be doing extremely well as is her beautiful mother.

Proud new Daddy of four David was very quick to announce the news on his Facebook page: "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx"


Shortly after she was born the couple's spokesperson said: 'David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter. Happy and healthy she arrived at 7.55 am this morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family.'

And a source told The Sun that David was so happy about the new arrival that he was literally crying with joy. The insider said: 'David has been crying with joy. They are all so happy.'

The pair are also said to be 'stunned' because the little girl looks so much like Victoria did when she was a baby. She will definitely be one gorgeous and impeccably dressed little girl!!

Following the birth of Harper, David's sister Joanne tweeted: 'Big congrats to my sister in law @victoriabeckham and my big bro on the birth of my beautiful niece :) can't wait 2 see u all xx'

A delighted Mel B, who is expecting her third child later this year, also took to Twitter to express her congratulations to the couple: "Congrats!!! Yipeee another spice baby is born, damn it wish it was me this AM cos I feel like I'm about to POP!'

David Beckham took to his FaceBook page today to post this stunning photo of his very pregnant wife. 'Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn't looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!'

In the black and white frame, the former Spice Girl, 37, is seen reclining in the sun wearing a skirt and bandeau-style top and dark sunglasses. The candid shot comes days after she told Women's Wear Daily she didn't want to join the ranks of A-list stars, including Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who have exposed their bare bumps on magazine covers.

'I’m not really one of those people that likes to go out and pose and flaunt being pregnant,' she said. 'Not like there’s anything wrong in that. I’m so proud to be pregnant and I feel so blessed and so happy, I really do. But I’m just not that kind of person. So, no, I won’t be taking my clothes off. I don’t think anyone needs to see that, other than my husband. Absolutely not.'

There are now just days to go before she is due to give birth to her fourth child, a much-longed-for daughter. It is rumored that she has booked into a private hospital in LA where she will give birth by caesarean on Sunday.

A VERY Pregnant Posh Spends the Day with Her Boys

Most Americans spend the Fourth of July holiday at the beach and the Beckhams are no different. A very pregnant Posh, David, and the three boys spent the day, which also happened to be the couple's 12th wedding anniversary, at a stunning Malibu beach. Victoria looked exquisite in a halter neck red maxi dress, sunglasses, and flip flops. This is the first time throughout her entire pregnancy that we have seen her baby girl bump on full display. I must admit... I was in shock that her belly looked this big because during the pregnancy, she's worn very loose fitting tops and sweaters so it's been hidden... but she looks incredible!

No Baby Girl Beckham... Yet!

A few months ago, rumors started to swirl about when baby girl Beckham would be born and the most discussed date was July 4th - Independence Day and the Beckham's anniversary. Well, the world has to wait a few more days as she did not make her grand debut on the day she was rumored to.

A spokesperson for the Beckhams told MailOnline: 'The rumours are rubbish, Victoria has not had the baby but she will be giving birth soon.'

It was widely reported that Victoria had booked into an L.A. hospital to undergo a Caesarean section on the Fourth of July holiday.

David’s publicist, Simon Oliveira revealed on Twitter that the couple were never expecting their baby on the American holiday. He tweeted: ‘Contrary to certain reports, David and Victoria Beckham's baby is not due today and that was never the case....’

Mel C: "Victoria's Excited for a Baby Girl!"

Mel C has revealed that former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham is "thrilled" to be having a daughter.

The singer commented that the designer, who already has three sons - Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and 6-year-old Cruz - with her husband David Beckham, can't wait for her baby girl to be born.

"Victoria is thrilled to be having a girl. She was very, very excited to let us all know," she told Bang Showbiz.

"Her boys are absolutely lovely and beautiful - they're beautiful boys - but them having a little sister is a dream come true. She's going to be the best looked-after little girl in the whole world."

Mel also said that if Victoria and David's daughter is anything like her parents she will be taking over her mother's fashion business when she grows up.

She added: "I'm sure she's going to be very stylish if she follows in her parents' footsteps - they're both very fashionable people. She'll be taking over that fashion empire in no time!"

Victoria Isn't Taking a Maternity Leave of Absence

Victoria Beckham has revealed that she will continue working right up until her daughter is born next month.

The singer-turned-fashion designer, who is eight months pregnant with her fourth child, told GLAMOUR magazine that she has no intention on slowing down, until her baby daughter is born.

The star joked: "Maternity leave - what's that? I've been working incredibly hard so I'm prepared for next season."

Victoria, who is already mum to Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, said that normal working mums could relate to her plight, commenting: "Being a working mum is hard - I think women can relate to me when I say it's like juggling glass balls."

However, the star, who took home the coveted Accessory Designer of the Year gong at the GLAMOUR Women of the Year earlier this week, insisted that she doesn't see her clothing line as a job, saying: "My husband and children will always be my priority. But for me, what I do professionally doesn't feel like a job - it's my passion."

She later added: "It's been a really exciting time for me. It's my passion to make women look and feel beautiful and the highest compliment I can receive is when women enjoy what I'm doing."

Victoria's Pregnancy Style Staples

For each of her four pregnancies, Victoria Beckham has had a distinct style during every one. For example, with Brooklyn she was all about showing off her belly which she did in form fitting dresses and belly baring tops. While pregnant with Romeo, she favored fitted tops masked underneath blazers and sweaters. With Cruz, she was all about the ponchos and capes. With baby girl Beckham, I've noticed the following items have been her pregnancy style staples...

Victoria was rarely spotted outside of her home without one of her two Marc Jacobs quilted leather jackets. She owns two colors - black and a hunter green - which she often paired with jeans and leggings over the first few months. Underneath the coat, she typically wears either a loose fitting tank or T-shirt.

Of course one of her own designs would obviously be a fourth time pregnancy staple. Now Victoria's dress collections are usually very slim fitted and well tailored. For the past few seasons, she has been giving different drapery methods a try and I'm sure she is very glad she did as this loose fitting knot drape dress from her spring 2011 collection has been #1 lately.

Now most people would have a hard time walking in these without a growing baby in their belly but Victoria does not fear the dramatic height of her now favorite Christian Louboutin Daffodile pumps. She has the style in three colors - basic black, custom navy crocodile, and nude. I see a possible new "Shoe of the Year" already... and it's only just about June!

Lastly, while most expectant mothers dress themselves in loose/baggy pants to make room for their growing tummy, Victoria has favored stretchy leggings instead. I think that these are a much more chic alternative to maternity pants, but that is merely my opinion. Victoria seems to really like the comfort of the stretchy material as she's worn them several times paired with her suede Louboutin Ariella Talon boots.

Victoria Dresses Up for a Day at the Field

Here is just one example of why Victoria Beckham has been not only my one and only role model and style icon over the past fifteen years... she's not affraid to look amazing and wear whatever she wants - no matter where that is.

Case in point, she spent time this weekend with her boys at a field/park where the boys practiced their soccer skills. Now "normal" park attire for most people usually consists of jeans, a simple T-shirt, and either flip flops or sneakers.... for Victoria's fabulous self, she insisted on black leggings, a flowing top, and sky high Louboutin boots. Love it!

Victoria... you're just too fabulous - one of the many reasons why we all adore you so much!

Baby Beckham to be Born in the USA

Since baby girl Beckham will be entering the world very soon, it comes as no surprise that the press is already speculating on when, where, and how Victoria will give birth.

According to the most recent reports, VB has opted for a Caesarean section for the 4th July which is Idependence Day here in the USA, David & Victoria's 11th wedding anniversary, and the 4th anniversary of their move to the United States.

A spokesperson for Victoria told MailOnline: "It is no secret that Victoria will be having her baby in the U.S. - we will not be confirming the date although early July is correct. David and Victoria have a shortlist of names and once they have met their daughter then they will decide."

I, personally, can't wait until the new baby is born! I'm anxious to hear what they will name her and curious if they will do a magazine cover as several other celebrities have done here in the US. People magazine seems to be the go-to magazine for celebrity birth announcements: think JLo, Nicole Richie, Brad & Angelina, Britney Spears, Christian Aguiliera, and Christina Applegate.. just to name a few. How stunning would a cover be featuring the Beckhams with their new buddle of joy!! Here's hoping!

For those of you who were honestly believing that Victoria and David were going to name their daughter... uh.. Santa, rest assured as VB's team has laughed off those rumors (thank goodness).

Victoria Beckham's team has laughed off stories that the designer may be set to call her baby girl Santa Beckham. The story emerged in the Sun newspaper claiming Victoria was inspired by Santa Monica, near where the family lives, but a spokesperson told us there is no truth in the rumours.

"This is simply tabloid nonsense," Beckham's representative told us.
