David Beckham Loves Tattoos

Both David and Victoria Beckham are fans of tattoos and each of them has permanently marked their bodies with symbols that represent their loved ones, especially each other and their children. Recently, after the birth of little Harper, David was spotted shirtless with his daughter's name freshly inked beneath his neck. Well it looks like there's a lot of love in the Beckham household lately because this weekend, Victoria took to her Twitter page to post David's latest inking... the word Love in scripted text right above his writst, and the following message: "Harper loves Daddy's new tattoo of love."

Here is a new photo that David posted on his Facebook page of his latest ink (and looking rather fresh from the tatto palor I might add). He posted the pic with the following caption: "My latest tattoo."

David Debuts his New Tattoo for Harper

This weekend, the LA Galaxy beat FC Dallas with a 3-1 win and David played a pivotal role by scoring one of the goals. After the game, the proud poppa displayed his latest inking, his daughter's name in a script font that sits just above the tattoo of the three cherubs (symbolizing the three boys) carrying Jesus.

David's New Tattoo

First of all, I just wanted to thank you all for your well wishes and comments regarding my grandfather. It's a very difficult time for my family and I right now, and the fact that you all are very understanding really means a lot to me! He seems to be staying the same right now.. no better, but no worse either. He's going to have another surgery this week so hopefully it will all go well and he will get better soon!

On the other hand, it has been a bit slow in Beckhamland lately, but I will my best to catch up on what I've missed... starting with David's newest tattoo reveal. His latest ink is on his chest and it is of Jesus being lifted by three cherubs, of whom David says symbolise himself and his three sons. "It’s Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that’s what they’re doing in the picture. It means a lot."

The tattoo is the handy work of one of LA’s biggest tattoo artists, Mark Mahoney, who has worked on a long list of famous names who include Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. "He’s not a tattooist who goes on and does TV programmes. He’s low key and stays out of things and is very talented."

David Gets Yet Another New Tattoo

Right before David left for London with the boys, he got himself another piece of artwork... and no, not the decorative kind for your home, more like the inky kind for your body.

On David's FaceBook, the superstar soccer player posted the photo above and the following message: "I want to let you all in on something. Just had a new tattoo done by the legendary Mark Mahoney. Took six hours!"

I always thought that David was going to leave his chest area alone. I love his sleeves, I think they are sexy on him. Even though I don't really like them on most men, David pulls them off well. But I was kinda hoping he'd leave the rest alone. Can't wait to see what it is though!
