Hermes du Jour: Lizard Kelly Pochette in Vert Amande

In keeping with the green color of my last Hermes du Jour post, I decided to bring you all another one of Victoria's fabulous Kelly Pochettes. This particular bag measures 22cm and is made of lizard skin leather. The color of the bag is called Vert Amande - which has an olive green hue (FYI: the colors in the lizard family do not have the same names as those in the ostrich or crocodile).

Victoria's first and only time photographed carrying this bag (that I can remember anyway) was back in 2007 when she went to dinner with her hubby. She wore a Marc Jacobs green dress that matched her Pochette.

It was shot in locations throughout New York City and promotes not only the celebration on September 10, 2010, but the wonderful charity the sale of the t-shirts worn in the video benefit: The NYC AIDS Fund in the NY Community Trust.

David Trains and then Heads Back Home

On Wednesday, David Beckham was photographed training with his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates infront of a mini audience that included his children. After practice, it was time to get back home and Becks hopped in his all black Jeep Wrangler and away he went.

They really have a thing for black cars dont they?

New Sunglasses Added to NAP Today

Three more styles from the Victoria Beckham fall 2010 eyewear collection have been added to Net-a-Porter today. These styles are a bit pricey - they range from $430 to $745! Each piece is handmade and made from the highest quality materials - as per Cutler & Gross, whom Victoria has collaborated with.

The new additions include the grill aviators that Victoria has been wearing a lot lately and that I adore! They will run you $430.

Also included are the 18-karat rose gold-coated sunglasses that Victoria wore in her recent Vogue Turkey photoshoot. These sunglasses are a limited edition and the most expensive priced at $745 - the reason is they have 18-karat rose gold-coated square-frames and 24-karat mirrored rose gold lenses.

Where They Spent the Weekend...

As I mentioned in my previous post, it looks like the Beckhams weekend getaway was actually a friend's home in Santa Monica - specifically the one pictured above. The luxurious beach property, worth $5million, features three balconies, white shutters, four floors and a huge sunroof. Not bad for a weekend retreat!

More of The Beckhams' Relaxing Weekend

First of all, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who left birthday wishes in the comments of the previous post! You're all very sweet! I had a wonderful day with my family and friends! And a very happy birthday to those of you who shared it with me!

Victoria, David, and their three sons made the most of this past weekend relaxing at a beautiful beach house in Santa Monica with a few friends. Reports are saying that the house actually belongs to one of the couple's close friends and they borrowed it for the time being.

They look like they really had a wonderful time soaking in the rays, enjoying the fresh sea air, and spending quality time together.

I love how Victoria can even make a classic black bikini and coverup Posh! And of course David looks hot as always!

Hermes du Jour: 35 cm Vert Anis Birkin

Now, since my last few Hermes du Jour posts were a bit drab in color, I've decided to post a piece from Victoria's extensive collection that was a bit more fun.

This 35cm Vert Anis Birkin in swift leather is one of the more colorful pieces that Mrs. B owns. This bag was also a gift from David like many others. He purchased it for her in 2003 and it seemed to get most of it's use in 2003 and 2004 - we haven't seen it much since.

The color, Vert Anis, is a cross between and lime green and a classic green. Heidi Montag and Brooke Shields also own this bag.

In VB's Closet: A&F Parker Shorts and Converse Chuck Slip On Sneakers

While relaxing in Santa Monica, Victoria Beckham wore a pair of Abercrombie and Fitch Parker shorts (which you could purchase here for $50) and a gray pair of Converse Chuck slip on sneakers.

Now here are photos we surely don't see often!

David and Victoria Beckham along with their sons took a break from their busy schedules and spent the lovely Friday weather relaxing on a luxurious patio on the beach in Santa Monica. Victoria seemed very laid back as she sipped ice water and spent time catching some sun in a bikini.

Se wore a black tank, Abercrombie and Fitch cutoff shorts, her Victoria Beckham fall 2010 grill aviator sunglasses, and Converse sneakers. She has the most amazing legs! Looks like the pony tail is replacing that overplayed sloppy bun look! Love it!

In Victoria's and My Closet: Cutler & Gross Sunglasses

After lusting over Victoria's black Cutler & Gross 0811 sunglasses for over a year and tirelessly looking for them all over the internet, I finally have a pair of my own and I LOVE them!

Once Victoria was spotted in them, the black pair seemed to go MIA as far as the internet goes. But some sites did have them in a dusty gray, maroon, and even a brown color. Luckily, I stumbled across a website for a NY optician and they had all of the colors available in this style in stock - including the infamous black pair.

I ordered them via their website and they cost me $445 (yes I know they were a bit pricey but each pair is 100% handmade - which I found out after receiving them). They shipped mine in from London so it took about two weeks, but after I got them, the wait time was well worth it! I completely adore them and I can see why Victoria owns them in a variety of colors and wears them often!

*Excuse the picture - I took it with my iPhone in my friends driveway while I was waiting for her the other day. It makes them look awfully light and they aren't at all. I'll add better pics later.

VB's Faves: Runched Black Mini Paired with an Alaia Cardigan

Victoria's outfit for her family fun day at the Universal City Walk is not something most mothers would wear... but then again most mothers aren't Victoria Beckham.

Her runched black mini dress and Alaia cardigan combo are not new though. We've seen her in this exact look four times. Most of the time she pairs the ensemble with her Lanvin flats and Cutler & Gross sunglasses. Sometimes she throws her YSLs into the mix and tights.

The Beckhams and Ramsays Take on Hollywood

Yesterday, David and Victoria Beckham along with their three boys spent the day with chef Gordon Ramsay and his family in Hollywood. The famous bunch the took their children to an indoor skydiving attraction at Universal City Walk.

Victoria stuck to her all black ensemble with a cute mini that we've seen her in before, and Alaia cardigan, her trusty black Birkin, Lanvin flats, and Cutler & Gross sunglasses.

I love the photos of David and Victoria as they hold each other - so sweet!

Celebrities in dVb: Katherine Jenkins in Victoria Beckham Fall 2010

Like Kelly Ripa and Elle Macpherson, singer Katherine Jenkins is also a major fan of the Victoria Beckham Collection. She too owns atleast one piece per collection and always looks uber fabulous whenever she wears them.

Recently, Katherine posted this photograph of herself on her Twitter page wearing the fold neck fitted dress, #60, from the fall 2010 line. The caption with the photo read: "Victoria, I'm LOVING the dress".

The Beckhams Out in LA in Their Black SUVs

Wednesday was a busy day for David and Victoria Beckham. They were both spotted driving in Beverly Hills - Victoria in her black Range Rover and David in his black Escalade.

No word as to where David was off too but Victoria was coming from the gym. It looks like she has the "hide her face" approach mastered.

David Beckham Doesn't Pay Attention to Road Signs

Or so the DailyMail says.

On Tuesday David was spotted taking the boys to Jamba Juice for smoothies. When he attemepted to leave, there was a considerable amount of traffic. In order to avoid waiting in long lines, the UK site is reporting that David was photographed turning his SUV onto an oncoming ramp, despite several large red signs warning 'do not enter - wrong way'.

I don't know if I believe that it is David. Yes, there are two photos, but you can't clearly see the driver... and I don't even remember the last time he drove a white SUV - usually their security team does.

Apparently the traffic was due to President Obama's visit to CA.

David Beckham will act as the franchise spokesperson and will be featured in advertising and retail material across Europe and Australia.

The Beckhams Have a Dinner Date

Earlier this week, David and Victoria Beckham had a date night that consisted of dining out. Looks like Posh is keeping her extensions in and set back in a ponytail.

Style Inspiration...

After doing the recent post about Kim Kardashian wearing VB to the InStyle party, I couldn't help but think about all of the other times I've seen her out looking as if she's taken a bit of style inspiration from Victoria. So... I made a list of the various things the two of them have in common....

Example #1: The Bentleys
We all know that the Beckhams drive only the nicest automobiles and they love to customize them. For example, Victoria's Bentley Continental GT convertible is completely monogrammed with her initials... right down to the tires. After the Kim became a household name, her paycheck must have increased because she now drives the same Bentley as Victoria... and look at that - the same monogramming on the seats (except hers is a different color).

Example #2: The Range Rovers
Both the Beckhams and Kardashians are huge fans of Land Rover cars - especially the Range Rover. Victoria's newest addition to her car collection is a custom Range Rover Sport done completely in black. Kim also has a new addition to her collection - a Supercharged Range Rover... also done completely in black.

Example #3: The Hermes Birkin Collection
Out of all of the celebrities out there, if you mention Hermes (specifically a Birkin) one name is surely going to spring to mind - Victoria Beckham. Mrs. B has an enormous collection of the luxury handbags and it looks like Kim has jumped on the bandwagon as well. Kim now owns 4 Birkin bags.

Example #4: The Designer Shoe Addiction
Like any other girls, both Victoria and Kim are shoe addicts with a fine taste for high end designers. The two share several pairs in common (from L to R): Brian Atwood Maniac pumps, YSL Tribtoo pumps in both black and pale gray, Jil Sander D'Orsay pumps, Jimmy Choo Lance sandals, and finally the Fendi peep toes.

Example #5: Sunglasses

Kim and Victoria love their sunglasses and there seems to be one brand that they both adore - dVb. They both own the rose tinted aviators and the #3 pairs.

Example #6: Similar Styles

I've already mentioned my praise for Kim's street style ever since she's been working with Monica Rose... but I've also noticed that some of her outfits have a little Posh working.
