Beckham Serves Call Girl with a Lawsuit!
source: DailyMail
Looks Like This Story Isn't Going Away Anytime Soon..
But of all places, the UK's DailyMail is trying to make some sense out of the story meaning they are trying to explain how they think the story is fabricated. For example...
THE HOTEL: The first encounter, she claims, took place at Le Parker Meridien hotel in Manhattan. She said Beckham was staying in a ‘junior’ suite. Beckham was in New York in August 2007. LA Galaxy were playing New York Red Bulls on the 18th of that month. Is there any proof either Beckham or Miss Nici were at the Meridien? The hotel declined to comment and Becks insists he stayed at the Waldorf Astoria.
BECKHAM’S HAIR: Nici says that when Beckham opened the door his hair was damp after a shower. Beckham — through his representatives — says this can’t be true because he was sporting a ‘grade one’ haircut at the time. In other words, his hair was so short it would probably have dried almost immediately. A photograph in the New York Times of Beckham on August 18 confirms he had a crew cut.
COPYING REBECCA LOOS'S STATEMENTS: Nici says Beckham has a distinguishing mark on an intimate body. Loos also spoke of Beckham’s ‘distinguishing mark’. Also, Nici said he ‘knew what he was doing’ in bed. Compare the wording with the description Miss Loos used in an interview six years ago. ‘He [Beckham] seemed to know what he was doing.’ Both women also describe taking part in the same act with him.
THE OTHER PROSTITUTE AND MADAM: Nici has refused to identify the mystery second call girl, referring to her only has Jess. But, Kristin Davis, who used to be known as the ‘Manhattan Madam’ says, "Jess will never meet or talk about it. She is out of the game, and not even in this state. She wants nothing to do with it. She will not talk for all the money in the world."
COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOUR: "He’s a little weird, a little OCD," Nici says of Beckham. "He even put the television remote controls in order." Under different circumstances, it might be easy to believe that the two had met but David's compulisveness is widely known after his wife spoke about his antics on national TV.
CLARIDGE’S: Nici says she met Beckham at Claridge’s in London in September 2007. She said: "His dad was sick or something and he was very upset." It was widely reported that Beckham flew into Heathrow on September 28 to visit his father, Ted, who had suffered a heart attack. "Why would David be calling out a prostitute when his father was seriously ill?" said a Beckham aide. "To add to this, Victoria had cancelled a trip to Japan and had flown home to London to join him."
PHONE RECORDS: A Sunday newspaper caught up with Irma Nici at the weekend. She had claimed to have phone records of Beckham calling her from Le Meridien. But when pressed she could not produce any. She offered to show reporters evidence of U.S. immigration stamps in her passport to prove she was in New York at the time she alleges she was with Beckham, but later claimed her handbag containing the document had been stolen.
Some things are not adding up here and for once, the DailyMail is actually being a bit useful.
David Beckham's Latest Blog
I’m back in LA after to flying to Trinidad over the weekend with the 2018 World Cup bid team – in just 65 days, FIFA will announce who will host the World Cup.
For me it’s all about the legacy of The Bid, I’ve seen first hand the power that football has globally. A World Cup in England would not only benefit our country, we will help implement projects and improve facilities in all the FIFA projects around the world.
I’m glad that my Academy will visit each FIFA Confederation every year, should we win the right to host the World Cup.
Last Friday saw one of the biggest MLS matches in the calendar, we played the New York Red Bulls. While I was happy I got another 90 minutes under my belt, I was disappointed with the result, we lost 2-0. We had plenty of the ball and several good chances, it just wasn’t our day.
We’ve already qualified for the Play-Off Finals, which is great news, so we have to take the positives from Friday and kick on from there…and hopefully go one better than last year!
Take care

David's at the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup Final
The festival will provide football and life skills programmes and coaching workshops to almost 200 young players and coaches.
Speaking about the event, which will take place on the two islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Beckham said: “Trinidad and Tobago have produced some excellent players over the years and the islands are full of young people who love football. I am really looking forward to seeing the young girls and boys from all backgrounds and their coaches at my Academy. Encouraging young girls to play football has always been an important part of the thinking behind the Academy and it will be great to take this opportunity to also see some of the world’s best young women play in the Under-17 Final.”
This weekend’s event, which Beckham is able to attend due to a break in his schedule with LA Galaxy, will demonstrate how the project would work.
Beckham added: “I am extremely proud and committed to the David Beckham Academy. The proposal with England 2018/22 is an exciting one as football is such a great way to inspire and educate young people in so many ways.”
Jack Warner - who holds a vital vote on the location for the 2018 World Cup - thanked Beckham for taking time out of his schedule to give a “remarkable opportunity for the 200 participants“.
He said: “I would like to express my thanks to David and his team for arranging this. It is heartening to know that a man of such international stature remains committed to the development of talent worldwide. This is remarkable opportunity for the 200 participants. The fact that despite his busy schedule David has taken the time to open this festival, to share his knowledge with the children is testament to his character.”
Video: David's Interview After the Red Bulls Match & his Confrontation with a "Fan"
Here is a video with coverage and interviews from the LA vs NY match last week. David comes in around the 3:47 mark.
And here is a video from backstage where David comes into contact with a "fan" who makes remarks about his affiliation with prostitutes..David Takes Legal Action Against InTouch Weekly
David is understood to be planning legal action against the Bauer Media-owned title for defamation and slander. His lawyers will demand that the magazine does not repeat the allegations and prints a retraction on its front page. The legal action is believed to be imminent, with the documents still awaiting Beckham's signature. His representative sent legal warnings to Bauer before the magazine was published warning that if the allegations were made in print, he would take legal action.
I purchased this magazine and I must say that the story is completely ridiculous!

The Red Bulls Defeat LA
“I discussed with Bruce [Arena] during the week that I could play 65 -70 [minutes]. I felt pretty good. There were some stages where I felt tired and I felt my lungs a little bit. We had a few players pull up due to injuries so I had to stay on in the end but it was good to get 90.”
On the team’s struggles offensively:
“Usually the first half sets the tone for the game. The first half wasn’t good for us. We didn’t start well and we didn’t pressure well. They kept the ball and we didn’t press them. When you start games like that it is tough going on from that.”
On the loss:
“We are disappointed with the loss. We don’t want to lose any games here. We were disappointed with our first half performance more than anything. In the second half we came out fighting a little bit more but first half was how we lost the game.”
On the young back four:
“We know the back four could play. It doesn’t matter how young they are or how inexperienced they are. They are good players. There were just a few mistakes tonight. In the first half we didn’t play like we should play especially when we are at home. We should be in control of the game when we are at home and we weren’t.”
On the hype surrounding the game:
“Obviously there was a bit more hype and buzz around this game because it was New York and the rivalry. With the players that they brought, [Rafa] Marquez and Thierry [Henry], who did not play tonight, there was more hype around the game and a full stadium. There was a certain buzz around leading up to it but once you start the game it like any other game.”
Moving...
I just wanted to let you all know that the reason for my absence the past few days is that my fiance is moving from his house into a new place so I have been extremely busy helping him pack, clean, and schlep his things to his new place. He has to be out by the end of this week (his lease is up this weekend) and it's been like a circus with me being the contortionist who's trying to do like 100 things at once!
But I just wanted to let you all know what was going on so you have a reason as to why the blog may be a bit slow for the next few days. I have a few hours before he gets back so I'm going to recap what has happened while I was away.
Thanks for your understanding and patience!

Galaxy- First Team to Secure Playoff Spot?
The Galaxy will be looking to win their third straight game, which would extend their lead over Real Salt Lake at the top of the MLS and Western Conference standings. Following their come from behind win over D.C. United last weekend, a win that clinched a second straight postseason berth for LA, the Galaxy are now three points clear of RSL with five matches left on the season. This is the second and final meeting between the Galaxy and New York, who are currently second in the Eastern Conference, with LA winning 1-0 at Red Bull Arena on August 14 behind a 10th minute goal from Edson Buddle. That win stretched the Galaxy’s unbeaten streak over New York to four games dating back to the 2008 season, with LA going 3-0-1 in those matches.

David Beckham's Fitness Level "Ahead of Schedule"
In five weeks then, Beckham has gone from not having trained with team at all to playing a large portion of the second half. That he’s back playing and in the mix at all in mid-September is something that may soon be taken as a given, but Galaxy coach Bruce Arena said perspective is important. “Again, we need to appreciate [that] this is a player that six months ago tore his Achilles tendon,” Arena said. “To be back this quickly and be able to contribute what he has the last two games I think is very impressive. He’s ahead of schedule.”
Beckham’s fitness level is still a ways from being to where he would like it to be, he said. Regaining the strength in his tendon is one thing, but Beckham’s overall fitness took a massive hit as well. Hobbling around in a cast and recently torn Achilles tendon, there wasn’t much he could do.
“When you’ve been out for six months, and obviously with this kind of injury, it’s hard to do too much workout while you’re rehabbing it,” Beckham said. “For four months, I probably didn’t do hardly anything and then try to step it up. It’s going to take a while to get my match fitness and [Saturday] helps.”
How much Beckham plays against New York on Friday is likely undetermined. Arena had said he would like for his star player to incrementally increase his playing time, and in the matter of two weeks, he has almost doubled his time on the field.
Whether Beckham comes on as a second-half substitute, replaces someone at halftime or comes on in the first half remains to be seen. A start against New York would seem a leap too big to take at this point, but starting and playing 90 minutes is in Arena’s crosshairs.
“Our goal is to get him completely match-fit by playoff time,” Arena said. “I think we’re ahead of the curve. … If everything goes well and there are no setbacks, he should be on schedule.”
