Syesha Mercado was featured as a contestant on the short-lived AI competitor The One: Making a Music Star; was a member of The Drum Studio All-Stars.

Alaina Whitaker has performed at festivals throughout Oklahoma and at school functions; plays water polo; along with her sister Brittany, won a local singing contest with a prize of $5,000 and a three-song CD.

Alexandrea Lushington has been performing since childhood; has appeared on Showtime at the Apollo and BET; sings in the school choir and is a member of the drama club; plays the piano; enjoys writing stage plays.

Kristy Lee Cook released Devoted in 2005 on the Arista Nashville label; raised and trained horses; plays the piano and was a member of the band Sixshooter; enjoys cage-fighting.

Ramiele Malubay was born in Saudi Arabia and spent her early years in the Philippines; prior to AI was attending school and was a hostess at a local sushi restaurant; plays the piano and guitar.

Joanne Borgella won Mo'Nique's FAT Chance on the Oxygen Network and is a professional plus-size model; makes jewelry and designs clothes.

Asia'H Epperson began singing at age 3; was a waitress at two restaurants in Joplin; enjoys dancing and acting; has a passion for makeup and fashion.

Brooke White released Songs from the Attic on a small independent label; worked as a nanny; plays the piano and guitar.

Kady Malloy released a self-titled album on Amie Street Records but it has been pulled out of circulation; has a knack for vocal impressions and also plays the tambourine.

Amy Davis is a graduate student at Purdue University where she previously earned a B.S. in Horticulture; has performed with the Amy Davis Trio and Echoes of Pompeii; is a professional model; made it to the second round of 2007's Nashville Star.

Carly Smithson was born in Dublin, Ireland; as Carly Hennessy, she recorded a record for MCA called Ultimate High; was running a tattoo shop with her husband; was disqualified from AI in season 5 due to visa issues.

Amanda Overmyer was the lead singer in a local hard rock band called Steeleto; is a health-care specialist and is earning a bachelor’s degree in business management; loves riding her motorcycle.
